Charity auctions at VARTA screenings: results
Four novellas have raised money for the units of their heroes through auctions of limited printed frames and photo materials.
Thanks to hundreds of supporters, the auctions raised: “Cherubs” — UAH 650,000 (€13,081); “Riders on the Storm” — UAH 200,000 (€4,025); “Hands of God” — UAH 962,649 (€19,344); “She” — UAH 1,629,660 (€38,345).
100% of the proceeds go to support the units of the VARTA heroes. Special thanks to the charity @britukraid for organizing the fundraising.
About VARTA
VARTA is “The New Ukrainian Epic”: a series of documentary novellas about the war in Ukraine, told through the personal stories of pilots, tank crews, servicewomen and rescuers. The films are free to watch on YouTube, are shown at festivals and special screenings worldwide, and every screening raises funds for the units of the heroes.
