“Voices” announced: the word “terror” has a familiar face
Teaser for the fifth VARTA novella about the rescuers of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
The word “terror” comes from the Latin terror — “great fear”, “horror”, which in turn derives from the verb terrere, “to frighten”. Regardless of place and time, terror has a similar face.
Very soon we will present the fifth novella of the VARTA documentary project, “Voices”. Shot during the full-scale war in Ukraine, it documents the daily work of the DSNS rescuers who are first to arrive at the scene of a tragedy.
